I have experience of html and creating database queries so hopefully should be able to work with the information you’ve kindly given 🙂

Those both make sense and appear to return expected values. Could you point me to an example of how I can use these values to adjust the results that are returned when a form is submitted?

Thanks for the quick reply and advice! 🙂 Would it be possible then to have that change based on the type of page that they are on? For example if someone is on the Events page.
Would it be possible to create a box like this that gets categories dynamically based on which page the user is on? As it will not be easy to maintain for the site owners as they are not developers and would rather provide them with a solution that takes into account new categories that they create.

I need to position the locaton switcher as a drop down in the form. Is this possible by customising the template?
Also can you advise on displaying the categories for accommodation as a search drop down?
