Ok I was heading that way but wanted to be sure… thanks.
See attached image with a series of screenshots…
1=home page
2=clicked on cpt selection, screen zooms in.
3=events is selected, screen stays zoomed in.
4=screen can be dragged to right.
5=screen can be dragged left.
6=home page, rotated orientation.
7=clicked on cpt selection, screen zooms in.
8=events is selected, screen stays zoomed in.
screen can also be dragged left and right in rotated orientation.The only time the page goes back to fitting the screen is when I click the Supreme home page link.
Tested using Google and Safari, same issues with both.
Thought maybe it was the iphone zoom setting but that just made things zoomed in more when I changed it.
This reply has been marked as private.I have this working now. Thank you for the information!
I had custom fields set up so the user could just check the boxes they wanted on the form, and they displayed nicely in the tabs, but these custom fields are not part of the search when a keyword is entered in the search for box.
A grocery store listing would have hundreds of brands. I’m using categories because it is the most convenient way for a user to just check the brands they offer, from a predetermined list, when creating a listing. And I want them to be searchable when using the “search for” box.
If I use the tags, then each word would have to be typed in on the form by the user. More tedious and probable for misspelling. Both options are there, time will tell which one they use the most.
Thanks!
If I provide you a link to my website, could you look at it and see if there is an option (that maybe I am not seeing) for providing the search results needed?
Thank you for the link to review. Could you also give explanation for the items further down on this page? See attached image.
Can I create my own Predefined Fields?
Can I also create my own custom fields?
I’m curious to know how these are created and if I can create more so they can be specific to my site needs.
Thank you for the link. Is it possible to have any other search location options? Maybe a description 2 or create custom taxonomies that will be part of the search?
Thanks!
