Brilliant! How did you fix it?

    Hi Kiran,

    1. Issue 1 still remains. I did exactly as advised, but this hasn’t changed much. Please examine the attachment closely. So it has nothing to do with translation? Maybe its the way GeoDirectory handles and displays the variables. I wouldn’t need the commas at all, if this would be easier to fix.

    2. I will open a support ticket and report back to you.

Thank you for your reply Kiran!

    1. My request was misleading. Sorry to have used the wrong term – it’s comma, not colon. I would like to add/remove space before and after it in the page title and breadcrumb and could not figure out how to achieve this at GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Title & Meta. I would also like to get rid of the term „Near“, in the page title, because it is followed by my translation of this term. Please note the attached screenshot.

    2. I will ask the KLEO developers about the Page 0 in the breadcrumb, but as far as I remember Page 0 wasn’t displayed while using GeoDirectory V1.

    3. I am going to deactivate or remove WPML and see if the page title still displays the term „Near“

    Regards,
    Martin

    Hello Kiran,

have you been able to do the debugging yet? I’m thinking about following the PoEdit route as Guust suggested, although I still have to find a way to translate the BuddyPress URLs.

If WPML won’t let me, I will either disable it, or even delete it completely. But I don’t want to interfere with your debugging session. Maybe you could leave me a brief note. I can easily wait for a few more days.

    Regards,
    Martin

The reason for using WPML is that I have so many plugins installed that need translation. I’ve always struggled with Loco Translate, because I lost my GeoDirectory translations every time after an update of your plugins (maybe I configured Loco the wrong way, but I got frustrated over the time). The KLEO theme translation keeps me struggling, too. And I also wanted to translate the BuddyPress slugs/permalinks into German, but I must admit that I am currently not able to achieve that with WPML.

    Martin

Found a solution (thank you Guust for pointing me to the right direction). The breadcrumb can be changed (translated) via GD > Settings > Titles and Meta >

    Problem solved!

Thanks for your reply, Guust. And yes, I only need a German site. I will give the „Title and Meta“ approach a try, but the problem of the WPML database getting cluttered by the search terms would still remain, wouldn’t it?

Thank you. Should this be copied to the child theme’s function.php? I just put it in there, and it takes my site offline.
