everything is back to normal – thank you! I just changed the OSM layout by reactivating the plugin without any trouble.
What caused the problem? And why did this issue occur only on my site?

MartinThis reply has been marked as private.Please note attached screenshots and have an eye on the icon with the red arrow. All icons are completely out of place until you zoom in closer to the addresses. Only at the higher zoom levels the icon pointer starts to match with the actual location of the listing (the one with the arrow, which is not located in the middle of a lake, but on a street that is near the banks)
Okay, just to make sure I understood the situation:
The GD Archive Page Template is the template for all CPT listings – in my case places and events. It kind of globally sets the design/appearance of the Places AND Events page.
Adding a custom shortcode (for example show 2 columns instead of 4, which is the value I chose on the template page) to the Events page does not have any effect, because it is overridden by the Archive Template page.
Did I get it right?

glad to hear from you! I don’t understand a word about the ID issue, but luckily I don’t have to. Curious to know if the issue has been caused by the update though.
