S.Paolo OpenOffice does corrupt (or alterate) strings, just tried that more than once (another user had this issue too) using the sample CSV and saving it without modifying it, so I believe for 99.9% that OpenOffice does alterate something (I use Apple Pages usually, and LibreOffice once)

Figured out this issue after struggling a lot, days ago.
Try to use LibreOfficeThere is no ETA, update are frequently, this is in the to do list, so expect to have it fixed soon

Are your gd plugins up to date?In your permalink (settings/permalinks) is it set to %postname%/ with trailing slash?
