Sorry, “example” is “sample csv”
I have all the fields correctly as I need it in my business directory.
What I see at this stage is that the sample csv has a column “post_author” which my csv and custom fields settings do not have, but I will redo everything tomorrow my time (CAT) from the start again and come back to you.
Yes.
The process was:
exported the default example and expanded nr of columns to include my own column headings.
imported that into GD on the site.
when that gave me the “uncategorized” problem again, I exported the example and used it as is, with my own info (three entries).
still put all three entries into “uncategorized”
I am fairly sure that I have read most (if not all) the posts about the problem but none solved my problem, which is why I am convinced that I am doing something wrong on my side and will repeat that because I am in tunnel-vision now.
Thanks for the help
Yes that is how I understood it as I came across that info in an answer you provided elsewhere.
Did my own csv before but because it had the same problem I used the example columns with my own info, which is the one I attached.
Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I used the most recent Libre Office and even re-saved as utf8.
Anything else I need to do?
Thank you!
