I know that the plugin author should provide a php snipet, the question is, WHERE do I put it, once I have it? and how do I do it that it is not overriden after an update?

Nilswell, I discovered that I must have accidentally changed something in the discussion options that made many of my latest places not have a comment box.
I have changed it now, and am wondering if there is a way to bulk change the comments option on many places at once, as you can do with posts. I don’t see this option…
