Never mind, I have deactivated the plugin because it interferes with the titles and metas I set up in GD.
However, can you recommend a basic sitemap plugin for use with this theme? Thank you.

Yes I already had my map API enabled. Looks like in order for the map to show in that particular spot Google Static Maps have to be enabled in Google’s API’s.

thanks for your fast response although i’m not sure you understood my question. i’ve attached a screenshot to show what i meant about where i want the map to display. surely hope i dont need to understand code to be able to get the map where i highlighted since thats where it displays in your demo.
Also you say i can add styling or remove the slider. where and how can i explore those options? thank you for your time.
