You could do it the css way…
.geodir-details-sidebar-user-links { display: none; }
I would have to dig a little deeper to see if there is a way to stop it being generated in the first place…
Haha just beat me to it! You may also want to increase the top margin on dl.geodir-tab-head….
The simplest way would be to just add your links in a text-widget at GD Header Right – i used it for the ad-space here > http://gdfmodern.wpgeothemes.com/
If you need them elsewhere then you are going to have to venture into a bit of custom coding as Simone suggested…
August 27, 2014 at 10:58 pm in reply to: Layout Problems with WordPress Theme "Simple Article" #13430Hi Tom,
No problem, glad you have it sorted 🙂Ok thanks, i remember seeing it in at least one of the stacks, obviously it wasn’t Renew!
Thanks for adding your answer 🙂Hi Stacey,
Your screenshot didn’t upload, so i can’t see your problem exactly…but i think this is just a case of a couple of settings:
Set your map width to 100% in the map widget.
Turn off the blog title area in the X-Renew settingsPlease let me know if this fixes your issues 🙂
Personally i would get GeoDirectory as it is a plugin rather than a theme. I prefer to have functionality in plugins, so i can design or change my theme whenever i like and still keep all the functionality intact.
Hi @selen,
Has anything changed in that time? (updates to Avada parent, plugins etc)
Also what does the error say?
ThanksI didn’t make any changes to the pop-up bubble on the map markers – is that what you mean?
Your site is not running Genesis at the moment…
The plugin removes the Genesis stylesheet and re-loads it at a later priority to make it easy to style GD (or any other plugin) css….
Where are you adding your css modifications?
It depends what theme you are using. Could you supply some more details, maybe in a private reply….
Are you using the genesis compatibility plugin? https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory-genesis-compatibility-pack/
Hi,
The compatibility packs make the plugin output it’s content into the “X” wrappers, so the width settings in GD do not have any effect.
To achieve this type of layout, you would need to add some code to your child theme’s functions.php file to remove the actions which output the opening HTML for the content section and replace with your own action.
You would also need to remove the sidebar actions.
