If you are using one of the Avada pages as your home page (the ones that are full of shortcodes) then you will not be able to add widgets directly – you will need to use a plugin as suggested earlier.
The other option would be to create your own template in your child theme, but that would require a bit of coding…

This is happening because the calendar uses 2 tables (one for the top bar and one for the main area).
Your theme’s table property has a line-height of 2 and a bottom margin of 20px, so the negative margin of the widget’s cal_title is not enough to bring things back into line.You could add some css to your theme to correct this, something like:
.geodir_event_listing_calendar table { line-height: 1; margin-bottom: 0; } .geodir_event_listing_calendar table.calendar_widget { margin-bottom: 20px; }Ok – i found your site. You are running the GDF theme, so you need to deactivate all the compatibility plugins you have activated as they are not needed.
The error is because you have the Genesis compatibility plugin active, but you are not using a Genesis theme.
I am not able to view your website – is the URL correct?
That function is present in Genesis Framework, which must be present on your site (but not activated) aswell as your child theme.

Im not exactly sure what you mean about the homepage – i have just set it to latest posts in Sahifa and GD is set to use GD as homepage…everything seems fine…did you intend to do something differently?

You can contact me at john[at]poshweb.co.uk 🙂Integrating to that level would be quite a big job, but there is an option there for Ads/Custom Content – you can add shortcodes in that unit, so that could be a possibility for you.
I have made some more changes to the plugin – listings title has been moved below breadcrumb (in keeping with blog category titles) and both listing title and widget titles now pick up Sahifa styling. I also improved the search bar.
I will look at it again in the morning to see if there’s anything i missed.

I have made some more improvements to the plugin, but i’m getting a 403 Forbidden error when i try to visit the website – are you doing something to it?

@manilaboy The explorable theme uses different HTML wrappers, so there will be a few discrepancies. A new plugin could be made if there is demand, but as standard it would be to get GD to fit into the design, not make GD function like the listings currently do on that theme.

Divi compatibility is complete. With the impending drop of the new core version, it was decided to delay it’s release slightly in case i need to make any adjustments. You shouldn’t be waiting much longer, so you are safe to keep going 🙂ps. Glad you’re a fan of GD – it’s certainly the best plugin of it’s type that i have come across (and i think i’ve tried them all) 🙂

I try to keep the integrations as plugins wherever possible, so that people can still develop their own child themes which will work in tandem (if required) for maximum flexibility.I also try to keep the css to a minimum as people will want to do their own styling, but i do include css to combat incompatibilities.
The Sahifa plugin is not complete yet, but i will make sure css conflicts are dealt with, and the GD elements blend in nicely with the Sahifa styles.
My personal preference if Genesis – but i’ve been working with it for a while. It can be hard to work with at first, since it isn’t set up the way most WP themes work.
I believe the GD search function already has an autocomplete function…
