Hi,
The Genesis primary navigation has been moved to the header, and secondary navigation has been set to appear in the footer.
There are also 3 footer widget areas available.Naturally you can modify this behaviour using standard Genesis actions.
Hi,
Yes this is a child theme for the Genesis framework, so you will need the parent Genesis for it to work.I will be looking at this asap…
Could you provide login access to the test site you created so that we might investigate – thanks
The idea of the plugin is to place GD elements into the correct theme wrappers, not to add styling as different people will have their own ideas for how things should be styled. There are no plans to add detailed styling to the plugin, except for conflicts.
Has the theme had a major update? It is possible that they changed things dramatically and now the 2 no longer play nicely together. .?

The idea of the compatibility plugins are to make sure GD elements are delivered into the correct areas. I include minimal styling to override display errors caused by the theme’s css but try to keep these as few as possible because i don’t think the plugins should force styles onto all users who may want to style things themselves.I am not seeing an issue with your review tab – could you be more specific about the problem?
I believe the calendar is going to be updated, but in the meantime you can add this to your stylesheet to fix the colour of the top bar:
.wpgeo-enfold .geodir_event_listing_calendar tr.title { background: #ccc; }
and fix the gap with the date using:
#geodir_event_calendar { margin-top: -58px; }
I will take a look at the location switcher on mobile and report back.
Hi, The Avada child theme and plugin are designed to work together, and should both be used. Ultimately we want to only use the plugin, but at this time the child is also necessary.
If you are already using your own child theme and don’t want to swap, you could copy header.php from our child theme and put it in yours.
Your site is currently running Enfold and Enfold’s style is overriding the padding of the elements – please add this to the style.css file of your child theme:
#mobile-advanced #menu-item-gd-location-switcher dd a { padding: 5px; }
Hi,
You want to be making all your changes within your child theme.
Inside the folder for your child theme you will need a style.css file and a functions.php file.
Do not make any changes within the plugin folder as you will lose all those changes when you update the plugin.Hi Brian,
Thanks for the file and apologies for the late response.
I have updated our demo site and had a look through the files. I am not seeing the issues you raised – do you have a site i could view to see these problems?
Thanks
There’s no extra steps to use the Divi theme/plugin. Something else strange is going on here….
If you supply login details, one of us will be able to take a closer look for you.This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I can see that this has been a major update…We have added hundreds of new elements, options and features…
Could you please supply us with a copy of the new version of Enfold so that i can make the necessary changes to the plugin.
