GDF does have an area above the logo/header right area.
If that is not suitable for what you want to do, you would need to modify the header.php to include a new area. You may also need to create a new sidebar depending what you want to do with the area. Finally you would need to create the css to style the new area.
This will overcome the location switcher not showing when used in the top bar:
.top-menu li > div { visibility: visible; }
This will improve the look of the selector in the location switcher:
.geodir-chosen-container-single .chosen-single { height: auto; }
I am not seeing an issue with your search?
You can add the above changes to your child theme’s style.css
The title tr element is picking up it’s background colour from Enfold. You can override it with something like this >
/* Event Calendar */ .wpgeo-enfold .geodir_event_listing_calendar tr.title { background: #ccc; }
September 19, 2014 at 4:28 pm in reply to: JS/CSS Issue with the location Switcher on Make Theme #15894Hi,
It is working fine for me, but you will need to add some css to make it look right – the css declarations in your theme are overriding the default GD styles…
I was using Integrity stack.
I had a look using renew, and it seems that the background doesn’t display on any page, so it’s a problem with the stack rather than with GD.
On renew the background is being overridden by the .site container in renew.css
Try adding this to your child theme:
.site { background: none; }
I just uploaded one and it works on our test site > http://dropct.com/x/places/united-states/new-york/new-york/attractions/the-liberty-bell-center/
You are clicking save & publish aren’t you….?
I’ll take a look and get back to you shortly…
Hi,
The “1 photo” link doesn’t seem to do anything at the moment. I have spoken to Stiofan and he is going to look at it – he will either make it open the image (like the “more” link) or open the image in a lightbox.Add this to your child theme’s style.css
#respond { clear: both; }
That should fix your edit/reply links 🙂

Thanks for the link.
Avada has received some major changes in this version with support for new layouts and a whole host of other things.
I will need to rebuild the child theme to make it fully compatible with this version. I will be working on this over the next couple of days….September 16, 2014 at 10:23 am in reply to: Update to WP 4 and GD – Enfold theme can't edit listing in backend #15531Stiofan looked into this and it seems there is a wider issue with Enfold and WP4.0.
Can you please check and upgrade your Enfold theme to version 2.9.2 if you are using WP 4.0 and let us know if you are still having issues.
Thanks.If one of you could give us a link to version 2.9.2 so that we can test it, that would be great 🙂
September 16, 2014 at 9:30 am in reply to: Update to WP 4 and GD – Enfold theme can't edit listing in backend #15527Ok, i see what you mean. If you click “edit” next to post status and then refresh the page, the map comes back and you can change the status.
I will look into why this is happening.Thanks for the file Jonah. I’ve updated the plugin and the breadcrumb looks fine 🙂
After i check the forum for any other issues i will give the new version back to the team so they can make it available for download.
Thanks for the heads up. Is there any chance you could share a link to a download for the latest version of X in a private reply so i can see what has changed?
Thanks
