Hi Kiran,
thank you! It is working on the test site but not on my productive site. I figured out that Yoast SEO is the reason why the productive site is not working with your snippet yet.
When I disable Yoast in the GD settings (GD->settings->general->Titles&Meta, see screenshot) your snippet is working.Would you adjust the snippet so that it is working when Yoast is installed and not disabled in GD config?
I’ve installed Yoast on the test site for you already.
Best regards
Ralf
Hi Kiran,
thanks for your reply. Unfortunately your workaround is not compatible with the idea of the 2nd menu bar “Sek”, because it is reserved for logged in users only. Therefore I cannot add a menu item to the 2nd menu bar that is always visible.
As mentioned in my previous post (see: step 6-11) the titles are working fine when another theme is selected, although the 2nd menu bar is not visible.
That means that it must be an issue with the theme compatibility.Would you please check the compatibility issue?
Tanks

Ah, right. Then it’s a neccessary connection that has to be accepted by the user in the data protection regulations.
Can you tell me what data the Geodirectory auto complete function sends to OSM server? Does it send the ip address? When I disable physical location the address field is also disabled, right? A SELECT field does not replace the address field with auto complete functionality.
I need the address field with auto complete function (see screenshot) but I don’t want the map to establish connections.
Is it possible to filter the map in the functions.php?
Hi Guust,
the thing is that I need physical location for adding the address. Hiding the map is not sufficient, because then the site still connects to external sources. This doesn’t comply with GDPR.
With the developer tools -> Sources you can see that a connection to openstreetmap.org is established. To fulfill GDPR requirements I need the site not to connect to external sources that are not neccessary.
Thanks

thanks for your support…and… it would be great if you could also implement a check routine as mentioned in my first post… 🙂
Best regards
RalfHi Alex,
thanks for your reply.
As I mentioned in my last post I think that the field is not behaving as expected. If I get Kiran right, the post will repeat for x times (given in the “after x occurrences) even if the date field is empty.
I tested this behaviour with the configuration given in the screenshot of my last post: the event listing was not repeated for 7 times, it was only listed once.Did I make somethink wrong or is it an issue?

thanks for your reply. I’ve added a test listing as described in your post (see screenshot) but the test listing is only displaying once and not for 7 times.Would it be possible to add a feature as described in my first post that the user is getting a warning when the user forgets to add an end date?
