Oh right, well that sweetens the pill a little then.
This should really be made a little clearer to all that get a Geodirectory membership, in that UWP and Invoicing are included in their membership.
Thanks for the info!
Okey dokey, I’ll get it loaded and set up then.
Thanks for the info!
Right.
And if I add this add-on, I can add NG2 locations as well, yes?
And all the way up to NG18?
Hi Paolo,
Yes I’m used to seeing Google’s own scripts buggering up pagespeed scores due to them being external ones, but it’s the first time I noticed a Max CDN script in there.
Hey, if you reckon it’s ok, I’ll leave it in there.
Ah right – the adding before content idea looks favourite for now then.
Thanks Paolo!
Ah yes, sussed it.
I was trying to drag and drop it, but just clicking on it works.
Thanks Guust.
Super, that’ll mean I don’t have to ask elementary questions in the GeoDirectory forum.
Thanks, Stiofan!
Sure, no problem.
It’s just the fact that I need to look through GeoDirectory, and UsersWP, and now Invoicing, to find desired add-ons.
I’d have thought that there’d at least be a menu link to the websites from Geodirectory.
Gotcha, so I’d need Pricing Manager (which I already knew about) and then Invoicing (another new one that I didn’t know about) and then finally, I’d be able to get Stripe.
Hard work ducking and diving between all these Geodirectory spin-offs, isn’t it?
OK I’ll check those docs out.
Thanks.
Well I don’t want to go down the road of using a sledgehammer to open a walnut (buddypress) so it’s looking like UsersWP is the main option.
So how do I use UsersWP to access the front end to edit and amend user’s profiles?
August 17, 2017 at 12:24 pm in reply to: 'Social Importer''Claim Listings' Pre-Purchase Question #391662Super, sounds ideal then.
I’ll grab those two add-ons later today.
I’m particularly impressed with the new Yelp instructions!
August 17, 2017 at 11:53 am in reply to: 'Social Importer''Claim Listings' Pre-Purchase Question #391655I’m planning on using this probably with the ‘Claim Listings’ add-on so that a business user can claim and revamp things all in one go. So – how does the Claim Listings’ add-on work specifically with a Geo-Directory website?
Social Importer can only be used to CREATE listings, not update them.
So if you as admin create a listing, it can be claimed and updated by a new user, but they cannot update it using Social Importer.Yes, there’ll be no problems on that one – I just wanted to use Social Importer to ‘migrate’ listings from Facebook so that they can be Claimed. What a user does with it after it’s been claimed is their own business. BUT do you mean that a Claimed listing MUST be altered after it’s claimed? Or could any of the original Facebook listing still be present?
Right, I’ll get onto that when I’m ready for launch then.
