Url will remain same.
Placing a template in ur theme files will provide facility to change look and feel of page without modifying plugin files.

Hi,
if u have multilocation on then u can use this statement.
$current_location_link = geodir_get_location_link();
echo $current_location_link ;
but this may have country or region too, depends on what the user has selected either from breadcrumb or a search.
