For now What I did was to remove the “Read me” link in CSS, like this.

}I would also like to know who controls the amount of text that gets displayed. What If I wanted more text to get displayed, where do I increase the amount of text that I want displayed in the short description?
Hi I did not get a reply on this. Check my site and you will see most of the search results have the “Read more” link on top of the other text. Why how can I make the “Read more” text only show at the end of the description next not on top of the text?

I looked into the documentation you pointed out and it says Each WordPress page will have a setting for “Featured Area Settings”.I see the sample where they show “Page Atributes” and they have “Featured Area Settings” -> Show: Auto, Title over Parallax image, Title and None.
I don’t have this Feature area setting wen I visit Page -> All Pages -Add Listings, and I click on Edit. How to I get that to show on my page?
I did togle the check mark for “Disable theme feature image” at GD – Settings – Design – Detail with no success.
Also, other than removing the top image on the listings page can I also change the image instead?

Ok, so I put the shortcode on the listing page but this is just put a message to ask the user to login or register.
What I want to have the system autodetect that the user is not logged in and take the user to the registration page automatically.
For now I set the GeoDirectory Setting to Allow posting without logging in. But the Listing page has featured image on the top of the page. I am not interested in having an image at the top of the listing form. How can I remove this image?

Ok, So I follow all the instructions above, except for the [gd_add_listing show_login=”1″… I did not know that this short code is for and where to add it.
So I made sure I had WordPress – Settings – General – Anyone Can Register (Checked).
I am also using UsersWP.
I added two new menus “Register” and “Login”, so I can register and login now.
But what I want is to be able to my “Add Listings” and get automatically redirected to “Login” the user is not already logged in.How do I do that?

I still can’t figure out how to set UsersWP to manage login and registraion?I read the documentation and the basic settings.
I Installed and Activated the UsersWP. I went through all the settings for “UserWP” and it still does not work.
I went to UsersWP -> Addons (tab) -> GeoDirectory
Chose my settings and saved.
Then went to UsersWP –> General ->Profile and made some more selections.But still when I visit my website http://www.partycoop.com and click on “Add Business at the right top corner. I get a page that says “You must be logged in to post”.
Can you please take a look at my site and let me know what I have done wrong or what I am missing? I have provided my credintials so you can check it out.

Thank you very much, that worked. I had no idea that back ground image was making the text fade.
Ok, so now that I remove the back ground image. The test that says “Read more …” and that is supposed to go at the of the text in about half of the listing this text is being displayed right on top of the test and it is unreadable. How do I fix that?

Great, with this instructions I can remove remove any item on the top left, how about the top right. Where the “Write a Review” right button is, how do I ger rid of that? What if I want to remove the “heart” icon, how do I remove that?
One more thing, The top of the page already has the tile, and the title appears again right above the main picture slider. I can to remove the tile above the picture slider, is there some CSS for that?

I don’t want to remove the rating completely. I just don’t want it to show on the side of all the listing that say “No reviews” because initially there are no reviews. I don’t want this to show.So I went to Pages -> All Pages and the I scrolled to the page called “GD Achive Item” and click on “Edit” for that page. I see a list of entries with [gd_ …] format, are those the shortcodes?
The only entry related to ratings is:
[gd_post_rating alignment=’left’ list_hide_secondary=’2′]Is that the entry that I need to remove?

Are you saying that I can not add widgets to my home page partycoop.com? That I need to use shortcodes in order to add anything to my home page?
Or do I have to create a Page and some how assign it as my home page?

RigoOk, so I looked at the link you provided above, but I am still confused.
Before, I would just add Widgets to ““GD Home Bottom” to create more content at the bottoms of the main website.
Now with V2, how do I add content to the bottom of the home page?

I did not know there was a maintenance coming soon only for mobile and I had not activated, it got activated automatically after following the video instructions to upgrade to GeoDirectory V2.Under what menu is that? So next time I know where to enable it when I upgrade another site that I have.
