Thanks.. I figured out the Reviews on events and how to remove those in the Events CPT but when I do Reviews is replaced with Replies (Comments) and I really would like to remove this.
I do NOT want to disable comments “Leave a Reply” on Blog posts or pages…. Only on Geo Directory Listings and Events.
What I don’t understand is that I am not seeing this on my CPT’s for Accommodations, Restaurants… but it is showing for Businesses CPT. Wonder what I might have done to accomplish this?

The curious thing is that like I mentioned I didn’t have to do this with my other site…but maybe there is an underlying issue.
Do I need to reinstall every “Bloody” Plugin now that I updated?
This reply has been marked as private.Alex, the only thing that is confusing is why I can’t get you to understand this is an issue that is not resolving itself no matter how many times I clear the cache, refresh the page, deactivate and reactivate the license key etc. I have reached out to Stiofan in the FB group to see if he can assist me since you don’t seem to want to deal with this.

so simple as that? really Gosh Alex I just told you I did that 4 times and it is not working. Otherwise I wouldn’t be bothering you with a non-issue cause it would have worked. I have better things to do and I know you do too but I am here in support because this is not working. Have a great day!
This reply has been marked as private.Ahhh… I followed the link from the failed plugin update and it took me to a page to update the 4 month plan. So for some reason it is not recognizing the new subscription license key.
that worked on one site but not the other one. Seems this issue has started since I upgraded from a 4 month subscription to the yearly just recently. In this last site I deactivated the license twice and reentered it… it still hasn’t updated.
Note: also something was kinda strange with the first site update. It was showing that two GD plugin updates were waiting. I deactivated the license and reactivated it and without updating the plugins they now showed they were updated.
Sorry.. I figured it out. I had it added to the CPT’s but didn’t have it set to the Price Plan and output location. Thanks.
Hey Brian, Yes I have done that in the past. You think that might work? Do you know where I would find it in the database? just do a query?
I would need to make sure that I am only editing the listings in the Restaurant Category… 🙂
WP is not Google… very funny Alex. No kidding. Just saying if they can do it I am sure you can.
Even Google gives us the ability to use a service area for a GMB where the address is NOT displayed…… just saying.
I know that the Geo Directory WP All Import was less than usable for what I was trying to accomplish and you guys did a great job of fixing the plugin so that I could import directly from the WP ALL Import plugin and not the GD Settings.
Can you help me confirm something. Here is my concern. I am adding custom data in the main content area so it applies to every listing I import. But in this case I have a handfull of User submitted listing where this has been edited to their content.
If I do an export from GD and then change the Package ID and reimport then my quess is that it will over write all of the content that has been changed.
From what I understand I can set WP All Import to ignore all import settings except the ones selected.. but I don’t have this package ID option.
1. If I leave all fields blank except for the Package ID will it delete all of the info that is currently in those fields?
2. Is there a way to add the Package ID as a Custom Field in WP All Import?
see attached.. you can see that because I didn’t change the ID number for the Package I have both a Free Accommodation and Free Restaurant Package. Maybe I can just live with that for now but it would be nice to get it sorted.

very interesting that you can’t do this in GD. In my other themes I was able to just use the City and State if I had a listing with no address.
It doesn’t make sense to create a second CPT for say Restaurants or Businesses with NO address.
What makes sense is if we can set the street address to NOT be required. Just my thoughts on this….would be nice to have a more user-friendly solution. I am sure that I am NOT the only one with this issue as I have seen this come up in other Directory themes many times.
I was able to figure it out. I used a pipe symbol “|” and then did a copy and replace in the csv and that worked.
