Actually I went back to WP All Import and I see that almost all of the Geo Directory fields are now there. But there are some missing Fields.
Missing Fields:
street
city
region
country
zip
post_type
claimedIf these fields could be added to the settings in WP All Import this would fix the issues that I am having.

I can see that it loaded the CSV but I am NOT seeing an import option after uploading the test file.
How do I import this text file?

Thanks for this confirmation.1. There are no fields missing that I know of in the GD import. I haven’t imported anything yet so I don’t know for sure. I was speaking of when trying to use WP All Import.
The reason is that the Directory Themes that I have recently used, they didn’t have a separate place in their theme to upload….you used WP All Import functions and they added their CPT’s to it directly. So I expected the same setup with GD but of course, that is not the case.

3. I just tried to upload a test CSV and am getting an error. See screenshot attached.
“Array( [error] => Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.)x”
I am not sure why I am getting this error. Any Suggestions? Could it be my security plugin or another setting?
1. I got that but that really wasn’t my question, my question really was “just label the CSV columns and upload, Is this correct?”
2. Sorry but that doesn’t make sense. I have been importing listing with WP All Import for a long time. What I called Shortcodes are just the column headings. I am NOT trying to use %%gdshortcodes%%. I am trying to import and use unique content for each listing without having to manually edit hundreds of listings.
But the GeoDirectory import function is something that I have not used so trying to understand how to do the same type of thing that I was doing with WP All Import but with the GD upload.
I would use the WP All Import but there are missing GD fields such as address, city, state etc.
This reply has been marked as private.Guust, Thanks. That worked. I had tried everything. I do have another question. My location in the Location Manager shows city-1 as the slug. I am assuming that this is because I had the city previously setup in GD. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change the slug. How can this be edited?

I am just getting back to using Elementor Pro and I have a question about your comment“2. If you create a new theme builder template for a CPT Single, it will override the GD Details template page. The original WP page for the GD Details template should be set for the Default template.”
in particular “The original WP page for the GD Details template should be set for the Default template”… can you share where this setting is?
I am assuming that this setting is at GeoDirectory > Design > Details > Page Template override …. are you saying to NOT change this setting here.
Any other information that you can share about using Elementor Pro with GD is appreciated. Thanks.

Also I am NOT using the Supreme Directory theme.
Again my question is.. rephrased…..
Is there a way that admin can change this setting on the Edit Listing Page? if not there really should be. Seems that exporting and importing via WP All Import/Export should NOT be the only way to edit if a listing is claimed or not.
What am I missing here?? Why is this not more accessible to admin? Seems that it would be very easy to include this on the Edit Listing page so that not only can the admin change this setting but to also see that the listing was claimed.

Thanks Alex, Let me confirm “The “Is Claimed” field has values 0 for unclaimed and 1 for claimed. The Claim button shows up when that value is 0, unchecked” ….
1. is this field only shown in the WP All Export or WP All Import CSV file?
2. or is this field supposed to be visible on the Edit Listing Page also?
