I am really struggling with adding a Badge. I want to add the badge to the Listing Cards and to the Listing Details. I just have to say I always struggle with a few things with GD.
1. Lack of good support docs
2. Lack of detail when reaching out to support.
3. Lack of good support videos ***HUGE Issue.I read the docs and the screenshots and detail assume that you understand more than most of us do. There are NO good examples of setting up badges for example. Shown is a blank Badge setting as to what you see when you first open it up. Then there are examples of code but no examples of showing the shortcode generator filled out… so hard to tell how you arrived at that final code and which fields to fill out.
Paolo shared with me about a year ago that they had hired a guy to get things organized but I am assuming that didn’t work out. We really need some good support videos and examples….otherwise I can just image that you guys in support just end up answering the same questions over and over and over. Good Videos and support docs would certainly help you and us. Rant over….thanks.
Can you help me set up a Badge so that I understand how to do this?
Guust, what is so strange is that I don’t see this code in my widget at all and I know you added it. My icons are aligned left as I want them so dang… where is that code hiding?

the div in the widget??? still confused on this.. This is an example of the code in the only widget that I know of that controls these social icons

Please can you share with me what you changed and exactly where so that I can apply this to my other directory?
Also question for you. Is it possible to display the complete url of the listings website as opposed to just showing “Website”?

The Text Widget had Linkedin already there I assume. Where did this come from? I copied the code and replace linkedin with Pinterest but still that did not put this code on the listing pages. When I look at the Source Code Pinterest is still not there. So something else must be going on, I am guessing.

Thanks.. I am making some progress. Just so you know the URL field is only in the Standard Fields that I can see.
I was able to get Linkedin to work but I can’t get Pinterest icon to display on the listing page. Do I need to add this icon somewhere?
And how can I adjust the Instagram icon color?

I tried adding the custom css to hide the dropdown but it doesn’t seem to work.

}I added it to the theme custom css. Shouldn’t that work?
I did remove the [gd_loop_actions] from the template and that solved it.
Thanks Kor, it does work fine when you first view it. Only when you remove focus on the browser tab by clicking another app for a short time will it do this. Strange one but always happens on my Mac but also happens to my friend in the Netherlands on his Windows machine.
