in the page geodirectory_template_actions.php on line 2377 I removed the maxlength attribute and this fixed the issue.
However, when I tried to upload it to the child theme directory (I tried many different locations within the child theme) and it didn’t update. However, when I overwrite the file in the plugin folder it works.
Please let me know how to make this same update so that I don’t lose it when I update the plugin.
I see that the issue is there’s a maxlength=”40″ on the field.
I was able to get it to show up correctly on the frontend following the instructions in your first post. The backend didn’t update the word ‘tags’ but I don’t care because nobody else sees the backend but me. Thanks!

I found how to edit this text. It’s under the Custom Post Type Page Settings.
