February 22, 2016 at 1:30 pm in reply to: Multinews Search box – not recognizing gd posts – compatibility issue? #125840thanks Guust, it was mentioned in the following thread that version 3.0 will be coming out soon, hopefully addresses a few issues:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/multinews-compatibility-issues/
might you know if they have addressed any geodirectory compatibility issues in 3.0?
1. for instance, i found that the multinews search box does not recognize geodirectory post types:
2. i’ve also found that Add Listing boxes in the My Dashboard sidebar widget show the Places option a bit too low, almost can’t see it
3. i’ve also found that it will not display the correct number of grid spaces in the sidebar widget, so if you select Grid View 2 Columns, it will only display one
many thanks
any screenshots of the upcoming new themes?
really wish there were a gd theme that was similar to goodnews or multinews, really really like those, might go with multinews (and waiting to hear if goodnews is compatible) but it seems that the author of goodnews and multinews might be struggling with support at the moment, seems like a one-person operation maybe
February 18, 2016 at 4:21 pm in reply to: MultiNews categories – alignment – left justified possible ? #124178looks like yes, at least in firefox, not sure about other browsers
also, not sure how this would look in other devices like iphone or the opposite like big screens
tested through ff web developer on laptop:
min-width: 90px;
width: 18%;.geodir-cat-list ul li {
float: left;
font-size: 13px;
margin-right: 2%;
min-width: 90px;
padding: 6px 0;
width: 18%;
}February 18, 2016 at 4:08 pm in reply to: font scaling instead of ellipsis… for category names #124166ah, thanks paolo 🙂
looks like sahifa is not fully compatible, see how the Add Listing drop menu displays even though the cursor is not over it?
is the new compatability stuff available?
how would i get it?
thanks
any good news on this? 🙂
or, even better might be to have the cat pic on top of each category
the cat list and pics shoud be responsive, and work with full width or with one or two sidebars enabled, and definitely responsive
any ideas? really could use this
thanks
