If it were me i would simply copy the widget code into your child theme functions and rename it to your own, then add the conditional call around that, this will mean it won’t be overwritten on updates.
Thanks,
Stiofan

January 12, 2015 at 12:05 pm in reply to: GeoDirectory_framework default permissions are incorrect #27102Hello,
Zip files do not store file permissions, anything extracted is set via the host computer.
How are u uploading these, via ftp or are you using the wordpress uploader?
Thanks,
Stiofan
Would you not be better adding the restriction on the actual add listing page?

ahhhh i wondered why that feature was requested, i almost removed it as i didn’t see the point 🙂

Hi Jan,
#1 Yes. GeoDirectory>Design>Navigation>Allow post type to add from frontend
#2 Yes. GeoDirectory>Prices and Payments>prices>(Edid price for your CPT)>Exclude categories
Thanks,

Hi Tom,
Should be as simple as adding this line to your child theme CSS file.
.sidebar-right-item .geodir_category_list_view li.gridview_onehalf { width: 100%; }Thanks,
Stiofan
Yes that is it 🙂

Hello, sorry for the confusion, it has been explained many times but i will explain it here again for you 🙂
If you buy a GD membership here then you get access to all OUR addons listed here and any new ones we release for the duration of your membership. If you decide not to continue your membership then you can continue to use the versions you have but you will not be entitled to paid support or updates of the addons.
If you buy on TT then it will cost more as you have to buy individually but there is no restrictions on updates or support for the products you buy. If for example you bought multilocations on TT you could then come here and go to your profile page and “sync” your account with TT which will give u access to the multilocations forum section and let you be able to autoupdate from WP dash.
There are some addons listed in TT that are by 3rd party developers, these you are paying those developers directly and are not included in the GD membership, such as “GD Business Hours”. You can tell if it’s a GD product as the product page will be prepended by geodirectroy.themetailors.com/…
I hope this helps explain things, let me know if you have any further questions.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I was too slow 🙂
Hello. Today i made it possible for you to update from your wordpress dashboard. U just need to enter you username and password in the GD autoupdate settings page. U enter the creds for this forum not TT.
Thanks.
Stiofan
Great! 🙂
