You can also do something like this with hooks by adding this to your child theme functions.php
add_action( 'geodir_add_listing_page_mandatory', 'geodir_action_add_listing_page_my_text',11); function geodir_action_add_listing_page_my_text(){ echo "this is my text": }If you change the 11 to a 9 it will come before the manditory text.

ok seems to be a bug but it’s only affecting a small % of servers.
In the core file geodirectory-assets/js/on_document_load.js around line 12 and 14
