@guust , let me try to be clearer:
For each CPT I have several categories let say:
CPT #1
Catagory 1
Category 2
Category 3Now looking at the spreadsheet of sample data (that I downloaded) it looks like if I have a business that fits into more than one category I can the categories in the post_category field and separate by commas. Upon upload the business will be listed in each category. Please let me know if I am wrong on this.
Now, if a user (front-end) wants to add a listing – when it comes to selecting a category it appears that this is a drop-down menu (that populates with the potential selections, but that you can only pick ONE category. Often (at least for what we are doing) a business/location fits into more than one category so I was wondering how to accommodate this. As each field needs to be unique I cannot have several fields in the online form with the same name.
As I have been writing this to I have been thinking…is a possible solution to change the field to a multi select field?

So if I want to add another content field (long text – a review of the listed business from our business) would this be a geordir or a post_? What would happen if I picked the wrong prefix?

I was wondering if I gave you 2 examples of custom fields (with credentials to my site) if you could set up these two fields in the CPT settings form (and fill in a mock spreadsheet field) that way I am almost 100% certain I can figure out the rest.
This would be huge help for me so I can learn to do the rest myself (I have many custom fields for each CPT (I have 8 CPT’s so I have a lot of work to do LOL)

I didn’t test per se. I tried to view the registration page and got the home page just like with GD sign up page.
You can deactivate (or remove the coming soon page) if that is what is required.
