See my link : http://dchtest.co.uk/wedding-directory-search/bridal-boutiques/avon
All I see in the meta is “Companies | The Wedding Community
See my screenshot…
Indeed thats what I’m looking for!
But I added those details like : %%in_location%% but when I review my page those meta don’t seem to be showing. I also did the same in Yoast and seems the same applies…
See my screenshots. Can you fix it for me if I give you the login? Can I pay you to do it? If so how much?
Hi
Im still stuck…
We need to setup meta description for the search results page.
This search results page should include the following meta info:
1) Category
2) LocationOur old website is: http://www.theweddingcommunity.com/Wedding-Directory/Wedding-Cakes/Avon See meta there shows both “Wedding Cakes” and also “Avon”(a location in the UK).
The new site , built in GeoDirectory is at: http://dchtest.co.uk/wedding-directory-search/bridal-boutiques/avon but no meta there at the moment.
Where can we do this?
Hello again
I tried that but can’t see it working.
I don’t want it to work as a widget but more in the actual meta description of a listing / company page.
I added like: %%location_single%% %%location_region%%
See attached.
Then i went to this tool to check if it had worked…
Hi Alex
Thanks sooo much for your reply.
I tried what you said and added in the meta description the word “Avon”
But now when I try some online checks I can’t see the word “Avon” anywhere.
See this page: http://dchtest.co.uk/wedding-directory-search/bridal-boutiques/avon
It has a category of “Bridal Boutiques” and a location of “Avon”
I checked here: http://www.exadium.com/tools/metadata/AnalyseMetaForm
See my screenshot. The keyword for category only seems to appear for me. Am I doing something wrong or is there a better online checker somewhere which will identify the location?
Thanks so much for your help again!
Luke
hello
can you leet me know what your experience is – in particular with reference to GeoDirectory?
what customisations have you done with it so far ? And send me links to I can verify that.
thanks
LukeHi Guust
So I set that up now. But now when I go to GD Checkout page the “Pre Bank Transfer” option is not available to select.
See my screenshots. What am I doing wrong?
I can deal with the previous issue but this was the orinal issue i contacted you about and its essential for this website to work as the client wants it.
thanks
LUke
Hi Guust
See here: http://dchtest.co.uk/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
See my screenshot
Is that how you would do it?
Just a bit weird as most people expect to choose payment method once they have got to the end?

Hello
I can see your screenshot. But is that not the same on my website?
Then for each “genuine” package do I need to make a duplicate (one for paypal payment and once for bank transfer?).
With the example screenshot you sent me , if they wanted to offer both bank transfer and paypal payment would they then need to make that into 4 packages? i.e.
– Standard $3 – paypal
– Stndard $3 – bank transfer
– Premium $12 – paypal
– Premium $12 – bank transferWould that be the only way to do it? Or am I missing something?
thanks again
Luke
Hello
The link you sent me just showed the same registration form to me. Did it to you? Please can you check whats on the page that you sent a link for? would that be usual?
I cant see anywhere different options up the top, for example pay once with cheque, or recurring with PayPal etc.
See my screenshot what I can see. No “cheque” / payment info at this stage.
Hi
The problem we have is that we are customising Geo Directory with ” extras ” so that we have only 1 pages any many “extras”
So the one package is £100 per year to be listed for one UK County.
then people can select how many extra “counties” for £25 per county extra. They could end up paying £250 per year.So now im thinking, if I need to make one package for “non recurring / bank transfer / cheque paying customers” , then I will have to then duplicate the whole package and make it non recurring?
I guess then they have to answer this question first when signing up? And then they can then start adding extra counties and the price goes up/
Is that the way you would reccomen to do it? Just seems a bit backwards as its like asking “Are you paying by paypal or by cheque” as the first question before even asking them what they want to buy!
What do you think? Surely there is another way around it?
Please have a look here: http://dchtest.co.uk/gd-login/
See screenshot also how I am currently creating the registration form.
thanks
LukeThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Guust
If I look at the GeoDirectory video for Pricing and Payments.
See at 13:09 it shows check box for “Pre Bank Transfer”
See my attached screenshot also from your YouTube Video.
So my question is why is this not worknig for us?
Thanks Luke
We dont want automatic bank transfer. It means that the customer will arrange payment seperately so no e-commerce – either by bank transfer / cheque / cash. Then once they paid we can go into the back end and mark them as paid and activate their account.
So we just need this / something to display on checkout page for them to select. How do we do this?
