Hi Robert

MikeIs there a way to hide the address itself so that a client can add an address in the second city, but not actually display it. This would also be useful for people who work from home, like I do, and do not want their home address displayed to the public.
I guess that was my question. I didn’t see a way to add the second listing without a second address.
I believe that the best answer would be to have a setting for a single listing or a global setting for all listings to display that listing for users within a set radius of the listing owner’s address.
So for instance, in the San Bernardino and Riverside example, which are about 18 miles apart. I would like it if the Riverside realtor’s ad/listing could display in all Riverside user’s listings and also be adjusted to show up in the San Bernardino customer’s listings, or any areas within the adjusted display radius setting, even though they are in a different city. Is this a possibility?
Thanks,
MikeHow can I add a listing in the second location when they only have the one address? They service the two locations, but from their office in Riverside.
Thanks,
MikeI have another issue I need to resolve. I am replacing a clunky html site where they were selling graphic ads with links. It was cumbersome and no longer sustainable. However, one of the things they did was to sell ads in multiple locations for a single client/advertiser. Now I am faced with how to import these clients into the new GeoDirectory system. For instance, a real estate client paid for ads in both San Bernardino and Riverside. They are only 18 miles apart and the Realtor services both areas. How can I get an ad to show up for people in both locations?
Thanks,

Thanks,
MikeOkay, I’ll give it a try and report my findings. Thanks for the quick response. 🙂
MikeOkay, that helps. 🙂
Thanks,
MikeI would also be interested in this “view nearby cities” feature. I am in Las Vegas, which is in close proximity to North Las Vegas and Henderson. These really make one large city, even though they are separate entities. It is not uncommon to drive to North Las Vegas for a service, even if I live in Henderson. Having the ability to show any listings within a certain radius of a given city would make the customer’s experience much less tedious by not having to go to the Change Location and move to the other city/cities.
Another feature that I would like, if is not available already (I haven’t found it yet.) is to be able to set a certain listing to override the distance settings and be displayed in a set radius. So for instance, if the normal range was in one city, but if they wanted to cover more than one city, such as with the North Las Vegas to Henderson scenario, their listing could be set to display to anyone within a 50 or 100 mile radius of their location. Of course, that feature would cost the advertiser more, which would be an added income feature for the directory owner. Is something like that available or can that be an added enhancement in the future?
Thanks,
MikeHas the next release you discussed been released, or do we still need to manually update the admin_functions.php file. I’m running Version 1.1.8.
