So I have found on the archive page when in grid view. You click the “closes time” drop down and it has another style error (see attached). A similar error appears on your demo but the closes drop down doesn’t stay open.
It’s really confusing as I like the plugin but it seems to have loads of styling issues even with the theme you made to run with it!
I appreciate you have gone to the developers about this but all I’ve done is install the plugin with it’s purpose built theme active, and it has all these style issues. I’ve looked through all the documentation and contacted the support numerous times and still haven’t solved a simple issue. Which is a shame, because this is the only plugin which offers certain features and I don’t want to start looking elsewhere, but I can’t even get started with GeoDirectory because of these design flaws.
No problem. They aren’t major issues, but the theme definitely doesn’t look as nice with these design issues. I may swap over to the divi theme again. I’ve found if I add the !important tag in CSS I can affect the shortcodes, so I may have more luck there, let me know if you find a cause/solution.
I don’t think you have fully understood my issue.
I have attached the area of the page where I am having problems. The Attractions category is showing next to the phone number, when on the below it is on the next row. The favourite fa icon has no margin. Compared with the demo theme it looks like the styling is broken. I understand i can edit this page with CSS but I don’t understand why there would be these issues when it’s a theme made to work with the plugin?
Have a look at the attached screen shot.
This reply has been marked as private.Yeah I swapped to Divi because I wanted more control over the design elements. I may go back to the supreme theme, I’m just trying to learn the shortcode system.
I do have a problem with getting the listing details page to show a feature image with the divi builder. I set the featured image as the background for the hero section at the top of the page, but it doesn’t pull the CPT featured image from a places listing. Any idea how I can do this with Divi?
