I want to enable a user to pay $1 via PayPal for the first 7 days. Then billed again after 7 days for $4.50 for 6 months. How do I make this possible?

That is not possible. You can give the first days for free, but not for a reduced price.
The free period also needs to be a similar period as the rest, so you would use 1 week free and then 26 weeks for $4.50.

    Thanks

Okay, thank you for the quick response.

I want the system to keep a listing live as long as PayPal payment has been received. If a PayPal payment was not received then the listing should be converted to Draft and is no longer live. Is that possible?

Yes, that should be possible. Set the package to expire. At any rate, if PayPal money is not received, the listing will go to draft by default.

Thank you, in regards to my earlier question, is it possible to create a discount for the first payment? This way I could do that first payment at $1?

Only if the first period is the same as the other periods. For example, first month is $2 with a 50% discount, then renews every month at $2.

Thank you, ‘Set the package to expire. At any rate, if PayPal money is not received, the listing will go to draft by default.’

    How do I do this?

When the invoice is sent and says pending payment, can the system put the listing into draft status after 3 days of no payment being made?

Pending payment should keep listing in draft.
The whole system only works if subscriptions are made from the frontend and a PayPal subscription is created at PayPal.
Unless payment is received, the listing should not go live.

Okay thank you, but if the user pays the first month, but then does not pay the second month? The system should put the listing into draft status, the problem is i dont think mine is doing that?
