2 problems with the theme framework or plugin

    1. When i click the first custom post type nothing happens and i would like that it behave in the same way the 2nd 3rd etc custom post type.

    For instance when you got the post types hotel, event, holiday.

    When you click in the searchbar on hotel nothing happens and when you click on event or holiday it gets you right to those ‘categories’ i would like that the first one also works like this.

    2. The Location part of this theme, framework and plugins anrent that much of a need for me and it just annoys me when i go on my site and it asks for a location and after that show those results near me. I need a solid directory primarily at this point. Can i disable it somewhere?

    Hi,
    1- not sure I’m getting what’s your issue 🙂
    When switching to a custom type, it will refresh the map/listing with the related listings for that custom type, isnt that what you want?

    2- you can disable the share location plugin from the plugin list in wordpress

    Oh now it makes sense…
    well this needs some custom code.

    You can’t load hotels because the action will be done once you select something and hotels is already selected by default.

    You can add a new value in the drop down menu like “Choose” so people will then select hotel or vacancies or etc..
    or you can add a widget below, that will output the current listings for the given post type

    Could you tell me in which file this is handled? Because the choose option is not an option since when you select it when you are in the listing of holiday you get to that part of the listing which is nothing really

    The best thing is to have it select nothing at first. And just show a text.

    That’s what I meant to say, “Choose” will be a text and then you actually choose the post type 🙂

    Oh oke i though you meant adding a new post type “Choose”. Could you point me to the filepath? Because i think i can fix this for my purpose

    You can eventually create a drop down by yourself with some basic html knowledge, each post type points to /hotels /vacancies etc..

    Can I make a simple suggestion?
    Why don’t you add a menu to WP admin > appearance > menus
    and add your different holiday types in there?
