Today I keep getting a 500 error when I try to save a new listing. Then I go back and it’s there, but not all fields saved. This is costing me a lot of time going back and redoing pages. I have a couple of hundred listings to add.

Can you please look into this?

    Thanks!

    Hi Kim,

Could you contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the PHP “memory limit” and also “max_execution_time” and see if it helps? You can also try the steps mentioned in this article https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP . Well, let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

Well, I’m still having sort of a problem with this. GD will not let me choose a photo from WP media. It only allows me to upload a photo. THe problem is all of these photos I need are already uploaded. Can this be fixed?

    Thanks!

OK, back to 500 error – I had my host increase as WP specified but the issue persists ONLY on GD Listings. When I add the same content to a WP page and save it I do not get an error. But I do on the GD listing.

    Hi Kim,

I’m sorry to hear about that. Error 500 usually means there is an issue with the server. Are you able to find the error logs on the server?

    Thanks!

Now I’m getting ANOTHER type of error that I wasn’t getting before today: On this page: http://rmcc.bwwtest.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=124&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

Notice: Undefined variable: gd_page in /home/bwwtest/public_html/rmcc/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory_template_actions.php on line 1658

    Hi,

the last one is just a warning and will disappear when you turn off debug.

If you provide FTP credentials we will have a better look. However it seems like the problem is server related.

    Let us know,

I don’t know if one of you did something to fix this or my host did, but I’m no longer getting the 500 error when I save a listing. Thanks!!!

I’m still having the other error though.

On this page ( and any other search page by “specialty” ): http://rmcc.bwwtest.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=124&s=+&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=

Notice: Undefined variable: gd_page in /home/bwwtest/public_html/rmcc/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory_template_actions.php on line 1658
