I have a few theme questions. I have searched the forums and reviewed the theme faq as well as tried a few things. Here are my issues.
1.) In geodir_sidebar_right_open I have ID: gp-sidebar-right and Class: gp-sidebar to match my theme, however when I view the detail page or the submission page the sidebar does not look appropriate. See: https://www.infoseclist.com/places/united-states/new-york/new-york/mssp/herjavec-group/
You can see it works properly on the listings page here:
https://www.infoseclist.com/places/For example, when a user adds a new listing and they need to review the listing, the approve button ends up behind the right sidebar if they scroll on the page.
2.) I have tried putting gp-content in a few places in the theme compatibility but cant seem to get the location correct. Advise on where to put the following id/class components in theme compatibility would be helpful.
ID(s): gp-content-wrapper, gp-content
3.) What is the default pagination count for the listing page? Is it possible to change it? I would like to set a default pagination on the listing page. For example, on the default listings page, I would like it to list the first 20 items then start the pagination arrows. I just dont want all the listings to end up on the same page.
See: https://www.infoseclist.com/places/Thanks
January 16, 2016 at 6:13 pm #68993Hi,
1) the detail page sidebar doesn’t have a class widget and your theme is adding css to that class only for the sidebar. You’ll need some custom css to make that part of the detail sidebar match your theme css.
2) I’m not sure what you want to do here.
3) That is a WordPress option in Settings >> Reading.
Let us know and please share link and credentials if you want us to have a look for you.
Thanks

2) your listings page is this one:
https://www.infoseclist.com/places/ not https://www.infoseclist.com/business-directory/
That is a page created with a shortcode and you need to tweak shortcode paramenters.
I’ve asked to Stiofan to help us fix your theme compatibility settngs. There is still a lot to do and I don’t seem to be able to make it happen.
He’s off for tonight already and will be off tomorrow too. So expect an answer by monday.
Thanks
January 16, 2016 at 8:09 pm #69021Yes I know the listings page is /places/
We created the business-directory page using a shortcode because we could force the pagination. It is just a temporary workaround while we work through the initial issue.
When someone clicks on a link and goes to the categories or other related items it brings them to a page that doesnt have pagination even though there may be more than 10 items on the page. For example:
https://www.infoseclist.com/places/infosecurity/That is a category page. It has 11 listings on it so the pagination isnt working somewhere. We were hoping to have it list 10 items and the start the pagination process.
I have set the menu back to default with the original menu items for troubleshooting purposes since we are early in the directory building process.

Please check your staging site, i added compatibility settings, i also had to add 1 function to your child theme functions file to fix the details pages.
The paging thing seems to be set to page at 12, i am not 100% sure where the 12 value is coming from, i assume a plugin or theme, maybe you know.
Thanks,
Stiofan
