    Hi,

I’m about ready to give this Membership Plugins and whatnots thing a run-out, but before I do, a question –
No doubt many of the add-ons will prove invaluable to the running of Geodirectory, but there will also be ones that don’t really fit with individual cases.

Following the try-out period then, would it be possible to buy outright the ‘Prices’, the ‘Stripe’, the ‘Clusters’, the ‘Events’ (to name a few) addons, and get lifetime support on upgrades?

Yes, that will be possible. Thanks

    Hi,

I’m sorry, but I have to correct the information provided here.

Following the try-out period then, would it be possible to buy outright the ‘Prices’, the ‘Stripe’, the ‘Clusters’, the ‘Events’ (to name a few) addons, and get lifetime support on upgrades?

None of our product is sold with lifetime support and updates. (we used to have this option, but it was not a sustainable business model)

    Thanks

Oh right – so if I shelled out £150-£200 on add-ons that I needed for my website, how do I get the support and any upgrades?

    We have 2 options:

    Memberships or buying individual add-ons.

Membership are valid for 4, 6 or 12 months.

All Add-ons comes with 12 months of support and updates.

Whenever you feel like your website needs to be updated, you’ll have to renew your licenses to be able to do so.

If you stop updating the add-ons you must stop updating anything else (core GD, WordPress and possibly any other plugin), because that’s the only thing that can bring in new conflicts.

    Thanks

OK, so what would be the cost for an extra 12 months support and upgrade?

    Same as the original purchase

    Really?

    Bit of a rip-off, isn’t it?

I’m not really encouraged by your definition of a ‘sustainable business model’.

    Really disheartened by this news…

Not at all in our opinion, it’s a bargain.

The product is very solid, we are a team of 7 people that keeps adding new features and providing stellar support.

Apparently a lot of members agree with us, because they support our work since years.

    Thank you
