    Hi,
I am finally around to testing the new add listing feature where an unregistered user tries to add a new listing by just adding their details and then the listing details.

When I submit the listing the first time, and I click on “go to checkout”, the system tells me I am not authorized.

I set the invoicing to accept not logged-in users. When I now go back to try the same, I get to the checkout screen, enter my details and go to submit. It now tells me my user id is not correct.

Have I done something wrong to let new users add a listing and check out in one go?

I can of course also go to my email and see that I have an email that tells me to go and set up a password. It is nothing on the screen to say that you cannot continue until you have confirmed your account by going to your email and setting up a new password.

I don’t think that will be obvious to users.

    Thanks
    Lise

I am assuming you are using UsersWP.
You will need to set the registration settings as not requiring any verification, so a registration is instant.
    Thanks

This feature may not be useful in your case.
This feature was envisioned to be most useful to sites that are looking to make it very easy for users to publish a free listing, as quickly as possible.

We will be taking a look at how to use the feature with paid listings for future versions.

Thanks for reporting your experience with the feature

    Ok,

I have set userswp to auto approve+auto login.

I have a mix of free and paid listings so I suppose it is just not very efficient for my purpose then. Thanks for clarifying that. I was excited about the ease of use it promised.

I will explore again when you guys have had time to look at extending the feature.

    Thanks
    Lise
