add listing drop down option

    when I go to click on the ‘add listing’ box on right side the only drop down available is ‘place’, how do I change the wording of this to just ‘add listing’ or ‘add event’?

    That would require a code customization. You could change it with the language files but that changes in other places too like the name used for the category pages.
    I don’t think it is possible with the Custom Post Types addon either, but will confirm with the developers. Thanks.

    I can confirm what Guust said. It is not possible without a customization of the login box widget code.
