    In my User Dashboard, there are a couple dropdowns that behave incorrectly.

    dropdown 1: Add Listing: There are 2 options in this dropdown (Add Listing and Places). If the user selects “Places”, then the user is taken to the Add Listing page. If the user selects “Add Listing”, then the user is taken to the all listings page.

    dropdown 2: My Listings: There are 2 options in this dropdown (My Listings and Places). If the user selects “Places”, then the user is taken to the My Listings page. If the user selects “My Listings”, then the user is taken to the all listings page.

    Why is this occurring and why do the dropdowns exist? I thought they would be links instead

    The dropdowns are dynamically generated depending on the user.
    The first link like Add Listing and My Places is just the heading, it should not be clickable.

    For me, the “My Listings” is clickable if you’ve already selected “My Listings -> Places”.

    context: If you’re already viewing your listings in the author geodashbord page, then clicking on “My Listings -> My Listings” is clickable and will take you to the default all listings view.

    question1: Can the clickable sub-item (like “Places”) be indented at all?

    question2: Is there a way I can change the clickable to say “Add Place”?

    question3: Is it possible to remove the search option from the dropdown?

    Hi,

    1 yes add this to your custom css: `.geodir_loginbox .chosen-results {
    margin-top: 10px;
    padding: 0 15px;
    }`

    2 yes, you can create your modified version of the widget within your theme functions.php. Copy the widget function from the plugin, copy it in your active theme functions.php, rename the class name, function name, and widget name. Add your changes and use the new widget instead of the default widget.

    3 Yes add this to your custom css : `.geodir_loginbox .chosen-search {
    display: none;
    }`

    I’ve asked to the devs to make the add listing place holder always not clickable.

    Thanks
