Hello, I am noticing a strange issue when trying to use the “Add Listing” form on mobile.
Upon entering an address, even if I have a city input, I keep getting a message that says, “This field is required”. I will provide login details that you can use to test the problem.
Thank you.

I didn’t select Maui / Kahului. I used the Google Maps autocompleter.
Do you not use it?
October 11, 2017 at 6:34 pm #400056No, I don’t use the Google maps auto complete because I have modified the info.
Can I disable auto complete on mobile? For some reason, if you manually select the region and city, it doesn’t recognize the city.
Thank you.
October 11, 2017 at 6:41 pm #400059You can only disable it for both desktop and mobile. Not just mobile…
Just did another test avoiding the autocomplete and worked fine too.
What phone are you testing with?
October 11, 2017 at 6:41 pm #400060I’m on a S7. 🙁
October 11, 2017 at 6:54 pm #400062I think Stiofan has one too. When he comes back online tomorrow he’ll test and let us know.
In the mean time I tested with my Android Tablet and it worked…
Thanks for your patience,
p.s. you should hide the category selector, it’s confusing.
October 11, 2017 at 6:56 pm #400063Thank you for your time.
The category selector is so that users can choose their listing categories – no different from the regular category selector that is normally there. With the default selector they can add new categories, and I’m trying to avoid that mess. 🙂
Do you have a suggestion to make it less confusing?
October 12, 2017 at 11:57 am #400166I don’t get the warning either. I also note that you have removed the “Set address on map” button so if that is not clicked or the map is not moved or the autocomplete is not used then all your listings will be in the default location (the wrong location)

October 12, 2017 at 12:09 pm #400173Hi Stiofan, did you input the address and region and city I provided? It won’t happen with the auto complete
Because I am using custom regions the set on map option won’t work with my setup. New listings will be set with the Google maps auto complete, but the region and city need to be input manually.
Also, about the city(where the error is coming from) there is the drop down list visible as well as the text box (to add), if I type in the city (same city that is selected in the drop down) the listing is accepted. Because that text box is there, I can’t add the listing unless it’s populated because the form validates it for some reason – even when a city is selected.
