Add listing page queries

    Hi

    I have created add-listing page for free listing and have these queries:

    1. I have long list of categories. I would like to have two fields. First field will display only primary category. When user select any primary category, all child categories of selected primary category should be displayed on second field.

    2. I have enabled address auto complete. when I type address it displays full address but when I select the address, it truncates the area and auto fills only street, city, region, country and pin/zip.

    3. How do I disable “Tag” field?

    4. I enabled “allow posting without logging in”. I would like to add few text in label for the name and email id.

    1. This is not possible without a customization. Try adjusting the category field, you can choose a single select, or checkboxes.

    2. What address are you testing with? Can you share more about what is being removed that you would rather keep?

    3. It is not possible to remove it, but you can limit it to 1 tag with the price package.

    4. It is not possible to collect more fields from the user when using the post without login without a customization.

    About 4th Query: I am not asking to add more field. I just want to change the field label and/or field description text.

    #3 Is that a neighborhood? Or city?

    #4 all text can be changed with translation. The language file is in the languages folder inside the plugin.

    You can try using Neighbourhoods for Area. That is an option in the Location Manager addon:
    “Enable neighbourhood”

    About #4: How do I make Name & Email mandatory (required) field when user is adding listing without registration.

    The Name & Email seems to be mandatory. But I am unable to view these two fields after un-registered user submits the listing.

    Those fields are for the user and not saved with the listing except as the listing author.

    Where can I see the details. Because, I would like to reach out to them and sell premium packages.

    There must be some table where name and email of submitter is stored.

    Thanks Alex,

    I had checked earlier and checked again now. The users who submit listing without registration are NOT in the list of users.

    I checked in phpMyAdmin also but could not find the data (name & email id) of user who submitted listing without registration.

    Feel free to use the link above to submit a dummy listing using your name & email id.
