I’ve received this message from a user today. Whilst everything seems okay with the system (i have just run a test listing as a third party user and uploaded to the site without issue and it is showing on my user account and the WP directory). I, therefore, assume all is good but strangely this is the second similar message I’ve had in a week about users clicking ‘Review Listing’ and then being diverted back to the ‘Add Listing’ page and their details not being stored.

“I can’t tell you how difficult your webpage is to use; It’s the opposite to user friendly. I’ve built my own websites and frequently use varied software online- but despite trying on your mobile site and the desktop site-neither appear to work.

I have tried several times to add my livery yard to your page, which often crashes and doesn’t save what I’ve written. It ends up going round in a loop; add your listing, fill in the details, click to agree to ts&cs/review listing and then is goes back to add listing.

Today I’ve tried twice to add a listing. The second attempt I finally thought I’d completed my listing as I finally got to the point where I was able to load my photos. I clicked review listing…..then nothing. I can’t find my user area as apparently nothing exists when I get there-no invoices-no listing. It’s time-consuming and frustrating when I’ve spent valuable time again, trying to use your service but it doesn’t appear to work. I haven’t even received a confirmation email so I’m gathering it hasn’t worked this time either?”

Because she claims she cannot get past the REview Listing section to confirm the listing it is not saving her details to the site. Is there anything that could be causing this for some users and not others, or is this likely to be an issue there end rather than the WP site itself?

    Thanks

I had no problem at all adding a test listing.
Maybe they do not wait for the images to upload?
Maybe they click on the link to the terms and conditions and do not realise that their submission is still open, so they start again?

No, i’ve had no problem either. I logged in as the user that sent the email stating a problem and created a listing without issue. I am sure if one user has a problem it must be the same for everyone?

I am going to put it down to an issue their end as from what I’ve tested and your reply there seems to be no issue with the system.

    Thanks

I think it may be user error, like they say: “click to agree to ts&cs/review listing and then is goes back to add listing.”
Maybe they click on the link to the terms and conditions, instead of ticking the box and do not realise that they are now in a new temporary tab.
