Thanks for your post. You can insert the GD map shortcode on the top of the “Archive Page Template” https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive/

the map lists all places – for each category / location i would like to just have specific category/location map icons listed – i.e for beaches i would like to have just beaches listed
