I have added a Beaver Builder short code to the Shortcode Widget plugin which I added to the GD Listing Right Sidebar. The Widget title, “Featured Business” displays and the shortcode text displays below it, however the shortcode is not working (see here: https://haywardlakes.com/accomodations/bed-breakfast-1/).

The shortcode is a column with the Featured Business slideshow as seen on this page: https://haywardlakes.com/fishing-at-hayward-lakes/.

Is the GD Sidebar blocking the shortcode from displaying? If anyone can steer me in the right direct I would be grateful.

The code seems to be complete different …
Try this:
Copy the widget that works exactly as is to the GD page: does it work then?
Copy the non-working widget to a normal GD page: does it work then?
That should tell you if it is GD’s problem or something to do with your widget or code.

GDV1 with Supreme Directory does not have a sidebar on the right side. The map take up the entire area. That may cause some issues with what you are trying to accomplish, there.

That said, perhaps shortcodes are not yet enabled in text widgets?

Thanks guys for the info. Turns out that the Beaver Builder short code was indeed the issue. I used a slider short code and all is well now.
