    Hi,

I have an established blog that I’d like to add your directory to. I’ve added a directory page and it’s all set up with version 2. When I add a theme, it takes over and destroys my site. I only want the directory on my directory page. I would like to continue to use Astra Pro for my blog. I have searched and searched and cannot find instructions for setting up Geodirectory as a part of a website – instead of the directory being the entire website. Can you please help?

    Thank you!

    Hi Amy Takken,

Thanks for your post. We have created GDV2 to be compatible with as many themes as possible and since you’ve encountered an issue here, could you possibly tell us a little bit more about it? Perhaps some screenshots of how our GD plugin destroy your Website?

I use Astra Pro as the theme for my website along with Beaver Builder. When I install your supreme Directory child theme, it takes over as the theme for my entire site.

How do I stop this from happening? I just want it to be the theme for my directory page.

I must be doing something wrong.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

GeoDirectory is a plugin first and foremost and should work fine with Astra.

WP Sites can only run one theme at a time, so, keep your current theme and use the GeoDirectory plugin and addons with your current theme.

It isn’t possible to run another theme just for a few pages.

Thanks for your help, Alex. I just watched this Youtube video on using page builders with Geodirectory: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o8zgcNwNKyY

The part I don’t understand is where are the widgets or modules to build the page? They are not showing up as saved templates or modules or anything.

Are there any more indepth tutorials on using Geodirectory with Beaver Builder?

    Thank you!
