Adding Listing upon Sign Up

    Because the link is to add-listing and pet shops is the first in the order.
    If you want the add-listing link to go to a different form, you need to give the full link like http://petadvisor.co.uk/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_pet_grooming or http://petadvisor.co.uk/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_vet

    Hi there Guust

    The problem is we need a way to show the different category options on sign-up, i.e. Users select from either Pet Shops, Pet Grooming, Pet Boarding ett which will then take them to the form relevant to that category. Each of our forms are slightly different.

    I know they all have different links… But we need to set up a landing page (upon sign up) for the front end user to choose a section (where we could say have buttons to the main categories) & go to one of the links…

    At the moment it goes straight to Add Pet Shops

    As i said in original post,,, we’re missing a step after sign up… we need a landing page upon sign up to go correct form.

    Create a page with a button for each form, like this:

    Adding a step AFTER signup would require a customization, the above suggestion works without any customization.

    OK, so to clarify, we have several forms. As it stands, you have to sign up before any form will load, currently it loads the first form as you say.

    I can’t see how your suggestion ‘Creating a Page’ with a button for each form would work because you have to sign up before any forms are presented.

    Have you got any sites up and running with examples of your suggestion for this?

    So how do we find the particular ‘login’ URL (not ‘sign up’ url) per category?

    The simplest is to look at the URLs from the dashboard widget, in your case
    http://petadvisor.co.uk/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_vet
    and your custom post listings slugs at http://petadvisor.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=geodir_manage_custom_posts
