adding new custom post type categories

    Hi, do you know where I could find documentation or reference to CPTs categories and how to get them to display in the dropdown options when adding a new listing?

    I have created several custom post types and each has one or two categories but when I go to ‘add listing’ and use one of my own CPTs none of the categories I created are visible. If I change the post type back to the default ‘places’ I can view all of the catergories associated with that in the drop down.

    Have I missed a step along the way? Any advice would be welcome.

    Hi Andrew,

    It should appear on the dropdown automatically when you inserted it using the Custom Post Type Addon from GD. Could you please make sure that you’ve everything updated? If the issue persists, please share WP temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look. You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
