Adding New Listing Bug

    Hi, I think I found a bug while adding new listing.

    I just got a customer that added a new listing and their new listing name was “Catering”, Same as the Category where they are listing at.

    So when I click on the new listing which is: https://www.partycoop.com/event-services/california/san-francisco/catering/catering/

    It just takes me to all the San Francisco catering listing just the same as if I visited: https://www.partycoop.com/event-services/california/san-francisco/catering/. So when the listing has the same name as the category in this case “catering” it does not display the new listing but the catering page.

    Can you please look into this. I tried changing the title of the listing to “catering services” but the link does not change and it is still …/sanfrancisco/catering/catering.

    Hi, Ok, so I changed the permalink to https://www.partycoop.com/event-services/california/san-francisco/catering/catering-services/
    and that work, notice that now it is …/catering/catering-services/

    I think these should be a bug, you either not allow some to enter a listing with the same title as the category or you just allow them to enter the listing with same tile as the category name and respect that and go to the listing when clicked on it, instead of going to the category itself.

    I think the only option is to change the slug {URL} of the listing then, you do not need to change the title of the listing.
    I’ll get the developers to have a look too, they might be able to build in something that does not allow listings to have the same slug as categories.
