    Hi,

    We seem to have a problem across all our 16 sites when displayed on an i-pad. There is some movement from left to right which we didn’t have before. Some of our banners are not responsive but to make sure they fitted ok on the site we reduced their sizes from 300×250 to 200×200. How is it we’ve made them smaller but they are still not sitting correctly?
    Geo did give us some coding (which is still in place) to allow for the main menu to be displayed the same on an i-pad as a laptop, but I see Geo have made changes so that the i-pad menu responds the same as on a mobile?! Could this be what’s interfering? I can’t remember what the code was geo gave us, so I can’t remove it.
    Two examples can be seen at: http://www.welovekohphangan.com, http://www.welove-bristol.co.uk

    Thanks

    Hollie

    Hi,

    there seems to be some faulty CSS in the child theme. If you provide FTP credentials for one of the website we will try to fix it for you.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    HI,

    today we are testing a new version and we need to finish to release it. I’ll have a look at this on monday.

    The css will have to be applied to all website and I’ll make sure to keep it well commented so that you just have to copy and paste it.

    Are these the FTP credentials too?

    Let me know,

    Thanks

    Can you let me know if the banner issue has been sorted please Paolo. Will these mean that we will be able to use 300 x 250 banners again? Many thanks!

    Hi,

    Stiofan is looking into the sidebar issue on iPad portrait. However responsive banner don’t exist.

    If you want an image to be responsive, you have to make sure to make it responsive via CSS.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo, I cannot access the links you sent? I have signed up to bitbucket and still have no access.

    Is there not a way the theme’s widget areas can be responsive then? Any other theme allows you to put 300 x 250 banners in them and they work on mobiles with no issues. It seems really strange that we can only put 200 x 200 banners within the side bars on the GEO theme. The theme will not allow anything larger.

    Yes the Bristol site now aligns the banners to the left and inline with everything else, plus all our other sites seems to be inline now, although the banners are not as far over, which is not an issue.

    It would be great though if we could use 300 x 250 size banners on the sidebars.

    Would this be possible in very near future?

    Hi Paolo,

    Just noticed that the dimensions of the bristol site is now looking slightly different than all the other websites due to the coding Stiofan added. Its widened the listing page quite a bit which isn’t ideal.
    The problem with the moving frame from left to right was obviously sorted and fixed in the theme/geo updates (awesome!) so I don’t believe there is any need for this extra coding to be added to bristol, as we still can’t use 300×250 banners?? Are you able to remove it please as I cant view the bitbucket link you sent?

    Thanks

    I’m sorry, I totally forgot that bitbucket is private.

    These are the changes made:

    style.css line 32:

    from: padding: 30px 40px;
    to: /*padding: 30px 40px;*/

    style.css line 54/55:

    from: margin: 30px -40px;
    padding: 0 40px 30px;
    to: /*margin: 30px -40px;
    padding: 0 40px 30px;*/

    style.css line 353

    from: margin: 0 -40px 30px;
    to: margin: 0 0px 30px;

    Style line 355

    add: margin-left: -40px;

    Thanks
