I was able to update to geodirectory 1.5.8 but unable to update addons, I get the error “SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name ‘wpgeodirectory.com”.

The widgets are now completely at the bottom with no padding under the sidebar. I had rearranged my place detail template following this https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/related-listings-width/#post-31491.
February 26, 2016 at 8:21 pm #128584Hello,
It looks like you are running a very old version of OpenSSL, infact it is probably not even compatible with PayPal IPN anymore, i would ask your host to update OpenSSL on the server and see if that helps.
Keep us posted,
Thanks,
Stiofan

February 27, 2016 at 12:39 pm #129114I will let you know. Looks like they’re not that good after all… they messed with the IPs while upgrading my VPS to centOS 7.
February 27, 2016 at 12:40 pm #129135Sorry to hear that, hope you get is fixed soon!

February 27, 2016 at 1:43 pm #129170Fixed now.
They installed centOS 7.1 and now there seems to be no problem to update the plugins, you were spot on with this.
The only issue is my Detail bottom section.
February 27, 2016 at 2:26 pm #129199Great news 🙂
For the Detail bottom section can you explain the problem, it looks to be as it should to me.

February 27, 2016 at 5:13 pm #129326If you look at the first screen capture, you see that the two widgets, related listings and one with a google ad, are completely pushed to the bottom left with no padding at all.
The google ad spreads completely under the sidebar from left to right, and I know it is as it should be, but following Guust advice here many months ago I had manage to have the widgets directly under the listing detail content, to the left of the sidebar (screen capture #2). But it’s not working anymore.
February 27, 2016 at 5:38 pm #129330Hi,
did you do what Guust suggested in your child theme or you modified directly the plugin template?
Because if you modify the plugin template after every update you will lose your changes.
Pelase see : https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
You need to create a geodirectory folder in your active child theme (or theme), move a cpoy of the template that you wish to modify in it and edit the file.
That’s the correct way to do it.
Let us know if this was the problem.
Thanks
February 27, 2016 at 8:36 pm #129473I did it in the child theme in october when I began working on the site. It was working until now.
I did a test, when I edit the listing detail template in the plugin, it works. But it’s like the file in the child theme doesn’t take control over the one in the plugin.
Here is the file structure:
plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-templates/listing-detail.php
themes/x-child/geodirectory/geodirectory-templates/listing-detail.phpFebruary 28, 2016 at 12:54 am #129538Hi,
it should be themes/x-child/geodirectory/listing-detail.php
Let us know if this helps.
Thank you
February 28, 2016 at 2:12 pm #129901It works!
Thank you paolo and all the theme for your help.
