Hi,

actually the address field cannot be made inactive. Either you disable the physical location entirely (with the CPT add-on that is possible) or the address fields are all mandatory. However you can write whatever you want in it, the city name again or even just a X. Than you can set the pin on the map by dragging it.

I’ll make sure we’ll remove that option from the address field.

Hi Mike,

Without custom code it can’t turn off the street address field and leave the fields city, state and postal code enabled. But you can hide the street address field for users using custom css.

Please add this custom css in Admin -> Geodirectory -> Design -> Scripts -> Custom style css code.

In the home map that will not be possible. Either you hide them all or none. In specific custom post type pages that will be possible.

If you provide a link and admin credentials we will try to point you in the right direction.

Remember though that this is considered a customization that goes beyond support.
