Addresses not found

    Hello all… I am a newbie to GD and having an issue adding listings. Often when I try to put an address into a new listing,, it cannot be found. However if i go directly to Google Maps and enter it the same way, it is found right away. Am I missing something?

    Sure…

    2173 County Road L, Tomahawk, WI 54487
    2706 County Road A Dorchester WI
    W7318 State Hwy 86, Tomahawk, WI 54487
    W7958 State Hwy 86 Tomahawk wi

    These all pull up in maps.google.com, but no matter how I enter them in GD, they won’t. There are more, but these are just the one’s that came to mind off the top of my head.

    I checked the first one, and in google maps, you have to enter the whole address and then click search before it finds the address.
    In GD it will find the address if you enter the address [2173 County Road L], choose country [United States], region {Wisconsin] and town [Tomahawk] from the drop downs.
    Google does not auto-suggest that address in Google Maps either, so in a case like that you got to choose your own country, region and city in GD, and then click “set on map”.

    I’ll give it a shot… I had some addresses that still wouldn’t pull up (I was doing it that way at first) but I don’t remember which ones. I know I had problems putting it in as you suggest and it locating it on the map properly too. I’ll post back here if I come across more.
