    Hi Guys,

    So I want to create a plan to enter listings not subject to limitations that I put in paid plans. Also, I don’t want to go through the hassle of paying for them when I enter listings on the front end. I am sure there is a way to create a listing plan that is not displayed to everyone but I am not able to figure out how to create that type of listing. It would be very useful so I can enter listings. What am I missing?

    Also, tag and description limitations by word count rather than character count would be beneficial.

    Thanks,
    Joel

    Have a look in the backend: Places > Add New Place
    There is no need to create a package for that.
    You can create custom fields that only admins can fill in too, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#for-admin-use-only

    Word count instead of character count is not an option for the moment, and I doubt it is even possible. I’ll ask the developers for you.

    Thanks

    Sorry, I don’t understand how adding an admin field in the backend helps me. If I want to create a plan that has specific features and I want to use that same plan each time, I would have to create it and then it would be visible to the front end. This controls frontend visibility of description characters, tag characters and other items that I have limited in my other plans that I make available. I do not see any way to create a plan that is only visible to admin so I don’t have to go in and adjust each listing I create one by one. Am I missing something?

    Thanks,
    Joel

    Sorry, I thought you wanted custom fields that were not available to other users.
    If you want a package that has the same fields but just with more characters etc, then create the package and hide it with CSS from the Add Listing page.

    Thanks

    Adjust as required:

    #geodir_price_package_5 {display: none;}

    Thanks
