Advance search – hide categories

    Two CPT are added.
    One has categories, the other not.
    Currently I’m getting the category box displayed for both CPT aways even if one of the CPT has no category.
    Any chance to remove this field?

    Thanks for your reply, but I don’t see how this can help me.
    For one CPT I need the categories, for the other one not.
    Since the link you provided is related to CSS, it will alawys hide / show categories.

    Hi Kor, thanks so much. The categories are not displayed anymore. Neither on the one CPT nor on the other.
    I need the categories for one, for the other one not.
    If I’m setting the categories of “fotograf” to be enables in the search options it is not displayed.
    Did you do any CSS tweaking?

    Additionally I don’t understand why the search page for Fotobox is also showing results of Fotograf.

    Ignore the additionally issue. This is fixed.
    The orgiginal problem remains.

    Hello,

    Categories are required for every CPT.

    I recommend you hide the feature with CSS and then add it back in as a shortcode with the CPT you want specified.

    We didn’t design the popular categories feature in Supreme to be hidden and it isn’t possible to hide them for one CPT and not another without a customization that falls outside of support.
